Initially working as a sculptor, Jeanie is now concentrating on oil painting. She paints a variety of landscapes and an occasional still life. Some have brilliant, intense colors and at other times a subdued and muted palette.
The Pacific Northwest is her home. Years of gardening has influenced her work and eventually led to a pursuit of landscape painting. Growing up in Oregon it is easy to uncover abundant subject material for her paintings.
